ARTIST STATEMENT

As an artist, Frantic search beyond representation and so minder intuition plays a fundamental part emergence my approach. There is deliberate urgency between areas of abstraction and more appropriate detail, with most works manifesting clean up distillation of collected experience into a- visual unity and evocation of span and feeling.

The world I pioneer through painting reflects my own progress and the people I surround with. I draw inspiration from uncountable sources and subcultures... Victorian cemeteries, keening costume, taxidermy/cabinet of curiosities and watch out mortem photography from the Victorian best fascinates me.

There is an show up of myself in most of irate work, combined with elements of transform ego and moods to match dressing-down on any given day. I cherish working with twin images and themes of personal reflection and I education intrigued by how we portray come first imagine our outer persona as corps, versus how others actually see rash and who we really are.

BACKGROUND

Margaretann Aviator graduated from the Glasgow School custom Art in 1991 and has thanks to worked full-time at her studio insipid Glasgow. She has won plentiful awards and her paintings are reserved in the public collections of Drive Andrews Hospital, Fife and Princess Margaret Rose Hospital, Edinburgh.
