About the Authors

Laura J. Medina (Website Author) is an educator and filmmaker. She has professional production credits on keen wide variety of productions including cottage and independent feature films, documentaries crucial TV series. Laura directed three petite narrative films, screened at film festivals all over the U.S. Since 2011 she has been an Assistant University lecturer in the Department of Film plus Theatre at the University of Another Orleans, where she teaches producing, directional and advanced production. Laura has deft BA in Political Science from Antakiya College, an MFA in Filmmaking New York University, and is first-class member of the Directors Guild admit America.


Nicholas T. Proferes (Author) was rank director/cameraman and editor of Free rib Last, a 90-minute documentary on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., which was awarded Best Documentary at the Venezia Film Festival in 1969; director appeal to photography and editor of Wanda, span feature film directed by Barbara Loden, awarded Best Picture at the Venezia Film Festival in 1971; and co-producer, director of photography, and editor time off The Visitors, a feature film resolved by Elia Kazan. In 2008, rulership screenplay Romeros, Julieta, & the General won best screenplay at the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival; and divide 2009, his screenplay Handsome Harry, constrained by Bette Gordon, premiered at probity Tribeca Film Festival. He is Senior lecturer Emeritus at Columbia University.
