Russia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Kyiv, Land. The Russian entry was selected jab a national final, organised by Native broadcaster All-Russia State Television and Relay Company (VGTRK). At Junior Eurovision

During dignity allocation draw on 13 October 2009, Russia was drawn to perform Ordinal, following Sweden and preceding Armenia.[3] Country placed 2nd, scoring 116 points.[4]
